Daniel Cammish

Daniel Cammish, born on April 10, 1989, in Leeds, West Yorkshire, is a highly accomplished British racing driver currently competing in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) with NAPA Racing UK, driving a Ford Focus. Cammish began his karting career in 2003 before transitioning to car racing in 2009, where he immediately showcased his talent by winning the Formula Ford Scholarship class.

Cammish's career highlights include a dominant 2013 British Formula Ford Championship season where he won all 24 races, securing the title with two race weekends to spare. He also achieved back-to-back Porsche Carrera Cup GB titles in 2015 and 2016. In 2018, he stepped up to the BTCC with Honda and Team Dynamics, securing his first win in the championship at the final round at Brands Hatch. In 2019, he was a strong contender for the Drivers' title, finishing a close second after a mechanical failure in the final race. He returned to the Porsche Carrera Cup GB in 2021, claiming his third title in the series.

Cammish rejoined the BTCC full-time in 2022 with NAPA Racing UK. He has continued to demonstrate his racing prowess with multiple wins and podium finishes, making him a consistent frontrunner in the competitive BTCC field. Outside of racing, Cammish enjoys sim racing and mountain biking. His biggest influence is his dad, Peter, without whom he says he wouldn't have started racing.
