Charlie Wurz

Charlie Wurz, born December 2, 2005, is an Austrian-British racing driver quickly making a name for himself in the world of motorsports. The son of former Formula One driver Alexander Wurz, Charlie has been immersed in racing from a young age. He began karting at eight years old and was scouted by the Ferrari Driver Academy during his karting years.

Wurz's single-seater career officially began with select races in the Italian F4 Championship in 2021. The following year, he secured the F4 UAE Championship, showcasing his talent early on. In 2023, he added another title to his resume by winning the Formula Regional Oceania Championship. He also gained experience in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine and Euroformula Open Championship, where he achieved a sixth-place finish. Wurz made the step up to the FIA Formula 3 Championship in 2024 with Jenzer Motorsport, achieving a commendable 5th place in the Melbourne feature race, demonstrating intelligent driving and tire management. For the 2025 season, Wurz has joined Trident, with sights set on improving on his previous results and challenging for podiums. Known for his thoughtful approach to racing, Wurz analyzes his rivals, understands their weaknesses, and applies pressure strategically on track.
