About Arkin Aka
Alex Arkin Aka, born on August 7, 2000, is a German racing driver currently making his mark in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup. As the son of Attempto Racing team boss Arkin Aka, racing is clearly in his blood.
Aka's career began in 2018 in the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux, driving for his father's team. He gained further experience in the DMV Dunlop 60 series before transitioning to GT3 racing in 2020, competing in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup's Silver Cup class. His early seasons saw steady improvement, culminating in a strong 2021 where he secured a podium finish in the GTWC Endurance Cup in Germany alongside Dennis Marschall and Max Hofer, helping them achieve third place in the Silver Cup standings. He also scored his first subclass victory in the GTWC Sprint Cup at Valencia with Marschall.
In 2022, Aka participated in the Dubai 24 Hours and a full season in the Asian Le Mans Series as preparation for his third GT3 season. He continued to progress, earning a pole position with Nicolas Schöll and Marius Zug and setting a fastest lap in class at Imola, ultimately finishing second in the Endurance Cup opener. In 2023, he achieved 2nd in Sprint Silver (2 wins) and 3rd in Endurance Silver (1 win). Currently, Alex Arkin Aka is competing in the Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland with MSG Motorsport.
