Andrew Pinkerton

Andrew Pinkerton is an American professional race car driver, strategist, and race engineer hailing from Birmingham, Alabama. A versatile competitor, Pinkerton has experience in various racing disciplines, including open-wheel cars, sports cars, prototypes, and go-karts. He has participated in renowned series such as IMSA, MX-5 Cup, WRL, SCCA, NASA, and various endurance racing events across the United States.

Pinkerton's career extends beyond driving, as he actively works as a race engineer, strategist, and driver coach. He understands the importance of teamwork in achieving racing success and consistently collaborates with teammates to improve performance. Away from the track, Pinkerton has worked with programs like the Porsche Track Experience and Mercedes, gaining experience in numerous roles, from event promoter to journalist.

Some of Pinkerton's achievements include being the strategist for Montreal Motorsports Group's first North American win in the 2024 IMPC VIR TCR race, where they raced a Honda FL5. He was also a race engineer/strategist for Performance Tech, which finished third at the 2023 Rolex 24 LMP3, and a race engineer for ANSA Motorsports when they won the 2022 Lamborghini World Championship. In 2022, he was also a race engineer/strategist for FCP Euro Motorsports, which achieved a podium finish in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge.
