Andrea Bertolini

Andrea Bertolini, born on December 1, 1973, in Sassuolo, Italy, is a highly accomplished professional racing driver with a career spanning several decades. Bertolini began racing karts at the young age of 11 and quickly ascended the ranks, showcasing his talent early on. At 19, he became Ferrari's youngest test driver, contributing to the experimental development of their road cars. His racing career officially began in 2001 in the FIA GT category.

Bertolini's success is closely linked with Maserati, particularly his involvement in developing and racing the MC12. He secured multiple FIA GT Championship titles in the GT1 class with Vitaphone Racing, partnering with Michael Bartels. This partnership proved dominant, resulting in consecutive championship wins and a reputation as a formidable force in GT racing. He also claimed the inaugural FIA GT1 World Championship in 2010. In addition to his GT accomplishments, Bertolini has also achieved success in other racing series, including the Superstars International Series and the Asian Le Mans Series.

More recently, Bertolini has continued to compete in various GT series, including the GT World Challenge Europe. He achieved notable success in the Pro-Am class. In 2024, he is competing in the Fanatec GT Endurance Cup, driving a Ferrari 296 GT3 for AF Corse. Alongside his racing career, Bertolini remains connected to Ferrari, contributing his expertise as a tester.
