Alfie Briggs

Alfie Briggs is a rising star in the world of British motorsport. Born in Oxford and currently residing in Banbury, Alfie began his racing journey in karts at the age of 6, inspired by his father, Steve Briggs, who co-owns the BBM Sport team where Alfie also works as a race mechanic. Alfie's early karting career saw him achieve significant success, including a 3rd place finish in the 2015 Bambinos British Championship. He further honed his skills, becoming Vice Champion in the Iame Cadets at Walton Mill Kart Club in 2017 and the Trent Valley Kart Club in 2018, along with clinching the title of East Anglian Champion in 2018.

Transitioning from karts, Alfie competed in the Junior Saloon Car Championship in 2023, driving a Citroën Saxo VTR 1600. He obtained his international B license during this period, enabling him to race globally. In 2024, Alfie Briggs secured the overall drivers championship in the Masters Endurance Legends series at the young age of 16. This series features cars that were eligible for the Le Mans 24 Hours race from 1995 to 2016. In 2024, Alfie got to drive the Sauber-Mercedes C11 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Alfie's racing inspirations include Nicolas Minassian, Allan McNish, Bob Berridge, and Tom Kristensen, with a long-term goal of emulating Kristensen's success at Le Mans.
