Alberto Cerqui

Alberto Cerqui, born on June 20, 1992, is an Italian racing driver with a diverse career spanning various racing disciplines. Cerqui's career began in karting from 2002 to 2008. In 2009, he transitioned to single-seater racing, competing in Formula Azzurra, where he demonstrated his talent by securing four wins, two pole positions, and six podium finishes, ultimately clinching the championship title. The following year, he progressed to the Italian Formula Three Championship with Ombra Racing.

In 2011, Cerqui shifted his focus to touring car racing, joining Team BMW Italia in the Superstars Series. This move proved successful, as he achieved three consecutive pole positions and his maiden win at Misano. He ultimately won the Italian division of the Superstars Series and placed third in the international standings, making him the highest-ranked BMW driver in both categories. Continuing in touring cars, Cerqui entered the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC) in 2012 with ROAL Motorsport, driving a BMW 320 TC. Cerqui has also participated in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italy and the Lamborghini Super Trofeo.
