Racing Driver Ryunosuke SAWA

Ryunosuke Sawa is a Japanese racing driver who has showcased his talent across various motorsport disciplines. He began his career in the F4 Japanese Championship, where he competed in 2019 with Saccess Racing. ​

In 2021, Sawa advanced to the Formula Regional Japanese Championship (FRJC) with D'station Racing. Over five races, he secured two victories and three podium finishes, accumulating 84 points and finishing fifth in the championship standings. ​

The following year, Sawa continued in the FRJC with Sutekina Racing Team. He made a remarkable start to the 2022 season at Fuji Speedway, achieving pole positions and winning all three races during the opening weekend. Despite this strong performance, he withdrew from the championship after the first round, concluding the season with 75 points and a ninth-place overall finish. ​

In addition to his single-seater endeavors, Sawa competed in the 2022 Porsche Carrera Cup Japan with the Porsche Japan Junior Programme. He demonstrated consistent performance, securing multiple podium finishes, including second and third places at Fuji International Speedway and Okayama International Circuit, respectively. ​

Sawa returned to the FRJC in 2023 with Sutekina Racing Team. He participated in five races, achieving two wins and five podiums, earning 98 points and securing fourth place in the championship standings. ​
