Risa OGUSHI

Risa Ogushi is a Japanese racing driver who has recently made her mark in the GT World Challenge Asia. In 2023, she participated in two rounds of the series, driving a Mercedes-AMG GT4 at Okayama International Circuit with teammate Kazuki Oki. She achieved a respectable sixth and seventh place in her class during those races.

While detailed information about her earlier racing career is scarce, it appears that 2023 marked her first appearance in a major international race series. However, further research indicates that she has participated in other races such as the Super Taikyu championship in a Mazda Roadster, the Kyojo Cup (where she finished 17th overall in 2022 and seventh in 2023), and the FCR Vita one-make series with her Vita car. In 2024, she also participated in five rounds of the Super Taikyu championship in the ST-5 class in a Mazda Roadster. Her and her teammates best result was eighth in the Fuji 24 Hours.

Beyond racing, Risa Ogushi has a diverse range of interests. She is a third-year biology student at the University of British Columbia, with a passion for marine-related subjects like seaweeds and intertidal invertebrates. In her free time, she enjoys reading, knitting/crocheting, and baking.
