Racing Driver Daniel MORAD

Daniel Morad is a Canadian race car driver with a diverse and successful career spanning various racing disciplines. Born on April 24, 1990, in Markham, Ontario, Morad began his racing journey in karting at the age of eight, achieving significant success, including the Canadian Formula Senior Championship and a Florida Winter Tour title in 2005. He transitioned to formula racing in 2006, competing in Formula BMW USA, where he became champion in 2007.

Morad's career has included stints in the Atlantic Championship, A1 Grand Prix (representing A1 Team Lebanon), GP3 Series, and Indy Lights. He has also excelled in sports car racing, securing the IMSA Porsche North American Cup Championship in 2016. A highlight of his career is his victory at the Rolex 24 at Daytona in 2017. He has also achieved a 3rd place finish at the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona in 2020. Currently, Morad competes in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in the GTD class with Winward Racing, driving a Mercedes-AMG GT3.

Beyond his on-track accomplishments, Morad is also involved in sim racing and is the co-owner of Moradness.com, a motorsports clothing brand. He is active on Twitch and YouTube, sharing his racing experiences and insights with fans. He is a Mercedes-AMG factory driver and a two-time Rolex 24 at Daytona winner.
