About Daniel JUNCADELLA
Daniel Juncadella Pérez-Sala, born on May 7, 1991, is a Spanish racing driver with a diverse and successful career spanning various motorsport disciplines. Hailing from a family deeply rooted in racing, with his father and uncles also being racecar drivers, Juncadella began his motorsport journey in karting before transitioning to formula racing in 2007. He quickly ascended the ranks, showcasing his talent in Formula BMW, Formula 3, and GP3 Series.
Juncadella's career highlights include winning the prestigious Formula 3 Macau Grand Prix in 2011, followed by securing the FIA European Formula 3 Championship and the Masters of Formula 3 in 2012. From 2013 to 2018, he competed in the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters) as an official Mercedes-AMG driver, achieving notable success with multiple pole positions, wins, and podium finishes. Beyond DTM, Juncadella has also made his mark in GT racing, securing championships in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup and the Intercontinental GT Challenge in 2022.
Currently, Daniel Juncadella competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) for TF Sport, driving the #33 Corvette Z06 GT3.R in the LMGT3 class.
