Racing Driver Caleb Sumich

Caleb Sumich is a rising star in Australian motorsport, showcasing his talent in various racing categories. Beginning his racing journey in karts at the age of eight, Sumich spent nine years honing his skills, securing multiple race wins, series championships, and a Western Australian State Title. His karting career saw him compete across Australia, Singapore, and even at the World Championships in Italy.

In 2022, Sumich transitioned to car racing, winning the Arise Racing Junior driver search. He made an immediate impact, securing multiple race wins, a national round victory at The Bend Motorsport Park, and finishing second in the FSR Championships despite running a limited schedule. Continuing his ascent, Sumich joined McElrea Racing in 2023 for the Porsche Michelin Sprint Challenge, winning the first round at Phillip Island in 2024. In 2025, he made his debut in the Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia Championship, starting with two races in the Middle East.

Sumich's career highlights include winning WA State Titles in karting and the Radical Cup Australia round at The Bend. Beyond racing, he has worked as a Junior Mechanic for Arise Racing and part-time for an engineering company. His favorite racing moment was his first experience driving at The Bend, where he secured a win in both wet and dry conditions. Sumich's favorite race car is the Porsche 991.2 cup car, and his preferred circuit is The Bend Motorsport Park in Adelaide.
