Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters

The Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM) is a premier German touring car championship that has been captivating motorsport enthusiasts since its inception in 1984. Sanctioned by the Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club (ADAC), the series primarily hosts events in Germany, with additional races across various European circuits. In 2021, DTM transitioned to utilizing Group GT3 grand touring cars, moving away from the previous Class 1 touring car specifications. This shift allowed a broader range of manufacturers to participate, enhancing the competition's diversity and appeal. The 2024 season featured eight events, comprising a total of 16 races, with 14 teams representing six different car brands. Notably, the series has seen participation from esteemed manufacturers such as Mercedes-Benz, Audi, BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, and Lamborghini. DTM continues to evolve, maintaining its status as a cornerstone of international motorsport by delivering high-octane racing action and showcasing automotive excellence.
