Carrera Cup Chile Overview
The Carrera Cup Chile, established in 2017, is a premier one-make racing series featuring Porsche GT3 Cup cars, adhering to FIA regulations and sanctioned by the Federación de Automovilismo Deportivo de Chile. The championship showcases high-performance racing across renowned circuits in Chile, including the Autódromo Internacional de Codegua, Autódromo Huachalalume in La Serena, and Autódromo Interlomas in Temuco. The 2024 season introduced the Porsche GT4 category alongside the GT3 class, expanding the competition's diversity. The season commenced on March 15–16 and concluded on December 14, 2024, featuring eight thrilling rounds. Carlos Ruiz Jr. secured the overall championship title, demonstrating exceptional skill and consistency throughout the season. The Carrera Cup Chile continues to be a significant platform for motorsport enthusiasts and drivers in the region.
