Austrian GT Championship

The Austrian GT Championship is a racing series focused on GT machinery, organized with the vision of promoting exciting action and technical skill at top European circuits. The series features a structured calendar, often spanning seven race weekends with a total of 14 races, including events at the Red Bull Ring in Austria, as well as venues in the Czech Republic and Croatia. The championship is divided into several distinct divisions to accommodate different vehicle specifications, including a dedicated division for Porsche Cup vehicles across various generations (996, 997, 991, 992), and another division for modern GT4, GT3, and GTX cars. The format typically includes sprint races, though some events feature longer endurance races, such as a 3-hour race at the Slovakiaring. The series is managed by a dedicated team, including a Race Director, and aims to provide a platform where driver skill, strategic acumen, and team spirit are paramount to success, attracting a passionate group of motorsport enthusiasts.
