Description

2015 Porsche 991.1 GT3 Cup Australian-delivered Porsche 991.1 GT3 Cup, originally campaigned in Carrera Cup by McElrea Racing before being acquired by Cooper Murray (Ashley Seward Motorsport). In 2019, the car received a full refresh including a rebuilt engine and gearbox (10,500km) before being sold to David Withers. During David’s ownership, maintenance and engine care were managed by renowned Porsche specialist Michael Newton. In October 2021, the vehicle was purchased by Entice Projects Racing Team (13,000km). McElrea Racing subsequently carried out another comprehensive refresh, which included a gearbox rebuild and replacement of all life-limited components such as wheel bearings. The car currently shows approximately 17,000 km with the gearbox rebuilt in early 2024 and now showing less than 10 hours of use. The engine still is approximately at half-life, plenty racing km's still left in it. GT Collective has performed all recent maintenance on the vehicle while it has been in our care, including replacement of all fluids. The car has also recently undergone a compression and leak-down test, with all cylinders measuring well within factory tolerances. This vehicle has been actively campaigned in the Queensland Production Sports Championship as well as Porsche Club events, and remains eligible for Class B in the Michelin Sprint Challenge. The car is CAMS-compliant, fully log-booked, and equipped with factory ABS, an option valued at $28,000.
