CEC Power Shines in the First Malaysia 12-Hour Endurance Race

From December 5th to 6th, the Malaysian 12 Hours Endurance Race, organized by Creventic, a Dutch professional motorsport organization and a partner of the CEC China Endurance Championship 2026 season, was held at the Sepang International Circuit. Lu Zhiwei, Chairman of Wuhan Weitian Sports Co., Ltd., along with Li Lin and Cao Qikuan, CEC Race Operations Partners, and Yang Haojie, successfully completed the 12-hour endurance race, achieving a third-place finish in the 992 class and a second-place finish in the 992-AM class.

Creventic's Asia-Pacific Debut, CEC Shines

The Malaysian 12 Hour Endurance Race is the first Asia-Pacific event in the history of the 24 Hour Series, and also the opening race of the 2025/2026 24 Hour Series Middle East.

This year's race brings together top teams from Asia and Europe, as well as elite drivers from around the world, divided into five categories: GT3, GTX, 992, GT4, and TCE. The participating vehicles include globally popular GT3, GT4, and TCR race cars, as well as GTX and TCE-TCX groups specifically designed for GT and touring cars. A separate group has also been created for the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) race car, incorporating a diverse range of car models into the racing system.

Returning Home in Glory, Embracing a Shared Future

Lu Zhiwei, Li Lin, Cao Qikuan, and Yang Haojie represented 610 Racing in the 992 class. They secured pole position in the 992-AM class during qualifying and completed the 12-hour race, winning third place in the 992 class and second place in the 992-AM class.

Lu Zhiwei said after the race: "Our qualifying went very smoothly, and the 12-hour race experience was even more exhilarating and enjoyable. This is the last race of 2025, and I'm really looking forward to Creventic introducing professional operations to CEC events in the 2026 season."

Li Lin believes that this Sepang race... The journey was fruitful: "We came to participate with an attitude of in-depth learning, absorbing and learning a lot of experience in event organization and operation. Creventic will be at the CEC in 2026 to participate in the technical and operational aspects of the race. We look forward to presenting a higher level of endurance event for Chinese motorsport in the new season, and we also hope that more drivers will go to overseas circuits to jointly promote Chinese motorsport to the world."

The inaugural Malaysian 12 Hours endurance race has concluded successfully. CEC's in-depth participation marks the solid start of the strategic partnership between the two parties. This expedition and learning journey has accumulated valuable international racing experience for Chinese motorsport. Looking ahead to the 2026 season, CEC and Creventic will work together to create a higher-level and more internationally influential endurance racing platform, helping more Chinese drivers reach the world stage.
