Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie – ADAC ACAS Cup (13 September 2025)

The 65th ADAC ACAS Cup at the Nürburgring once again delivered the drama and endurance challenge expected from the Nordschleife. Out of 114 starters, 94 cars were classified, with Falken Motorsports securing a dominant 1–2 finish.

  • Winners: Julien Andlauer and Joel Sturm in the Porsche 911 GT3 R (SP9 PRO) claimed overall victory, completing 27 laps in 4:02:59.064 at an average speed of over 162 km/h.
  • Second Place: Teammates Tim Heinemann and Benjamin Leuchter, also in a Falken Porsche 911 GT3 R, finished 1:26 minutes behind.
  • Third Place: The SP9 AM class was topped by Black Falcon Team EAE with their Porsche 911 GT3 R driven by Mustafa Mehmet Kaya, Mike Stursberg, and Tobias Müller.

Spotlight on Max Verstappen

A major talking point was the appearance of Formula 1 World Champion Max Verstappen, who made a guest start with Lionspeed GP in the Cup 3 class (Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 CS).

  • Verstappen, sharing the car with Christopher Lulham, completed 24 laps, finishing 27th overall.
  • Their race pace was solid, averaging 145.4 km/h, with a fastest lap just over 9 minutes.
  • Unfortunately, Verstappen’s second entry in another Lionspeed GP Cayman (car #89) did not complete the race and was recorded as not classified (DNC).

While not challenging the front-running GT3 machinery, Verstappen’s presence brought enormous attention to the event, underlining his growing interest in long-distance GT racing at the Nürburgring.
