China GT Shanghai second stop is about to start

From May 16 to 18, the China GT China Supercar Championship, hosted by the China Automobile and Motorcycle Sports Federation and organized, operated and promoted by TOP SPEED Shanghai Qingsu Event Planning Co., Ltd., will continue to visit the Shanghai International Circuit to start the second leg of the 2025 season.

In the new leg, the entry list of China GT has been further developed. A strong lineup composed of top giants and many powerful drivers will once again gather at the venue of the F1 Chinese Grand Prix to compete for the championship honor on the highest stage of Chinese GT sports. A total of 29 cars in the three major categories of GT3, GTS and GTC, with enthusiastic participation of more than 50 drivers.

2025 China GT Second Station Tentative Entry List

The GT3 category, which is full of strong competitors, has been upgraded to a lineup of 19 cars, and most teams have maintained the same scale as the first race. FIST Team AAI, which uses the BMW M4 GT3 model, is led by Lin Yu/Erik Johansson, who swept two championships in the opening race. In another team, Chen Yinyu continues to partner with BMW factory driver Ugo De Wilde.

The 610Racing team will enter two Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO IIs and one Porsche 911 GT3 R in this race. Audi Sport Asia official driver Yu Kuai, who ranked among the top three twice in the previous race and won one second place and one season, will continue to drive the No. 33 four-ring car. The second round GT3 AM category champion: rookie Pan Deng and Yang Xiaowei will team up again to form the No. 915 team, and the driver of the Porsche car is still to be confirmed.

Origine Motorsport once again sent out the powerful combination of Lv Wei/Xie Xinzhe and Gu Meng/Min Heng. Lv Wei/Xie Xinzhe performed outstandingly in the first round final of the opening game, winning the runner-up trophy. They were on the GT3 PA podium in both rounds of the first race in Shanghai; Gu Meng/Min Heng also won two GT3 AM trophies in the past two rounds of competition.

Harmony Racing operates 5 cars to participate in the flagship category competition. The No. 37 Audi R8 LMS GT3 EVO II, which competes under the name of Winhere Harmony Racing, will be competed by the new team consisting of GTSC champion drivers Deng Yi and Liu Hangcheng. The runner-up of the second round GT3 AM category Zhang Yaqi/Lu Zhiwei, Zhen Mingwei/Wang Yang, Zhou Tianji/Wang Zhongwei will represent 33R Harmony Racing, Gaga 33R HAR, and Hehehe Racing by 33R HAR respectively. The third place of the first round GT3 AM category Li Hanyu/Ou Ziyang will compete under GAHA Racing.

UNO Racing Team is led by Chen Yechong/RIO, while Climax Racing Team is also led by Chen Fangping/Elias Seppanen. Youpeng Racing sent Shen Jian/Cao Qikuan, the champions of the first GT3 MASTERS round, to chase the winning streak in the group.

LEVEL Motorsport has upgraded to a two-car lineup, and the Jiang Jiawei/Yang Shuo combination will welcome the support of the Zhuang Jishun/Zhang Yishang combination. The Incipient Racing team will continue to be Xiao Min and the two-round runner-up winners of the GT3 MASTERS group Xing Yanbin/Wu Ruihua fighting side by side.

The competition in the GTS category has further escalated. The Maxmore W&S Motorsport team Moritz Berrenberg/Finn Zulauf team needs to do their best to defend their undefeated record. Incipient Racing Chen Sitong/Yu Tong team and Wu Zhenlong, GAHA Racing Wang Yongjie/Wu Shiyao, RSR GT Racing Tian Weiyuan/Han Liqun will all return to the field. Yin Jinchao/Yu Yuanlin team will join hands with Climax Racing to start the China GT debut, and the 610Racing team has also added a car in the GTS category.

The GTC category is still a direct dialogue between the Silver Bridge ACM by Blackjack team and the 610Racing team. Pang Changyuan/Li Sicheng of Yinqiao ACM by Blackjack Team will drive the Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO "Bull" car to compete against Lang Jiru/Liu Zexuan and Bao Tian of the Porsche 911 GT3 CUP camp under 610Racing.
