2025 F4 South East Asia Championship – Quick Overview

The 2025 F4 South East Asia (SEA) Championship, certified by FIA and organized by Topspeed (the team behind F4 UAE and Formula Regional Middle East), is set to launch with a five-event calendar across Malaysia and Thailand.

• Championship Schedule:

  • Rounds 1-3: Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia – May 2–4
  • Rounds 4-6: Buriram International Circuit, Thailand – May 23–25
  • Rounds 7-9: Bangsaen Street Circuit, Thailand – July 4–6
  • Rounds 10-12: Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia – September 6–8
  • Rounds 13-15: Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia – September 20–22

• Format Highlights:

  • Three races per event (25 minutes + 1 lap each)
  • Pre-event testing and two qualifying sessions
  • Race 2 features a top-eight reverse grid from Race 1 results
  • Super Licence Points awarded

• Technical Details:

  • Car: Latest Tatuus T421 Gen 2 chassis with FIAT Abarth Turbo engine (160hp)
  • Tyres: GiTi tyres, same as used in F4 Middle East
  • Magneti Marelli data logging
  • FIA scrutineering and technical support on-site

• Driver Requirements:

  • Minimum age: 15 years old
  • Must hold an International C or National License (assistance available)

• Package Offered:

  • Arrive-and-drive program including car management, driver coaching, event logistics, hospitality access, and data analysis.
  • Additional costs: driver-caused mechanical damage, extra tyres for unofficial tests, insurance premiums, personal travel expenses.
