The Guangdong Gaoka Team was formerly the Guangdong TV Huayang Team. Its driver He Hanqiang won the 2010 CTCC annual driver championship. Now they have a new name and a more ambitious goal, and continue to show their style on the field.

In the second round final of this station, Wu Jianrong/Zhang Hanbiao continued to be sharp, continued to maintain a strong performance and reached the top again, ending this season's Shanghai trip with a perfect record.

During the hot summer season, CTCC ushered in the third sub-station competition at Zhejiang International Circuit. Under the unbearable high temperature, Guangdong Gaoka Team helped many new drivers to complete their debut in the event. Among them, Wang Yimin and the famous car blogger Xie Jianchao formed a partner to drive the Honda Civic TYPE R FK7 TCR to participate in the competition, while Sun Shuming teamed up with Zhang Hanbiao to drive an Audi RS3 LMS TCR SEQ car to compete.

As soon as Wang Yimin/Xie Jianchao appeared on the stage, they showed strong potential to compete for the championship. They lost to their opponents in the first round and won the runner-up in the whole game and the group. In the second round, Wang Yimin/Xie Jianchao tried to go further and entered the championship battle again. Unfortunately, at the last moment, the Guangdong Gaoka team failed to withstand the offensive in the entanglement and once again missed the top position on the podium. In October, the final battle of the CTCC Sports Cup returned to Zhuzhou International Circuit again. The Guangdong Gaoka Team returned to the competition after two races. This time they helped Mai Yibo, who has a lot of competition experience, to drive the Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR SEQ to participate in the competition.

Thanks to the help of the team, Mai Yibo gradually improved his competitive state, first winning the fifth place in the TCR group in the penultimate round of the year. In the last round of competition, a calm mentality and steady performance helped Mai Yibo to go one step further and finish the race as the runner-up in the overall and TCR categories.

Looking back on the season, the Guangdong Gaoka Team took the stage six times in the eight rounds of the finals, winning a total of 3 championships and 3 runner-ups.
