Mathieu Lahaye

Mathieu Lahaye, born on November 23, 1984, is a French racing driver with a diverse career spanning various racing disciplines. Lahaye's journey began in karting in 1995, where he honed his skills for several years before transitioning to single-seaters. He competed in Formula France and French Formula Renault, showcasing his talent in the open-wheel ranks. In 2004, he participated in World Series Lights, securing a win at Valenca and finishing fifth overall.

Lahaye then shifted his focus to the Eurocup Mégane Trophy in 2005, driving for Tech 1 Racing. He demonstrated consistent improvement, culminating in a runner-up finish in 2006 with three victories. In 2008, Lahaye made a significant move into sports car racing, joining Saulnier Racing in the Le Mans Series. Piloting a Pescarolo-Judd alongside Pierre Ragues, he achieved fifth place in the LMP2 standings. That year also marked his debut in the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans, finishing 18th overall and third in LMP2.

Throughout his career, Lahaye has demonstrated versatility and adaptability, competing in series such as the FIA World Endurance Championship, American Le Mans Series, and European Le Mans Series. He has achieved considerable success, including multiple wins and podium finishes. Alongside his racing endeavors, Lahaye co-runs a sports car racing team called Ultimate with his brother, Jean-Baptiste. As of early 2025, Mathieu Lahaye continues to be a prominent figure in the world of motorsports, currently competing in the European Le Mans Series with the Ultimate team.
