Emil Lindholm

Emil Lindholm, born on July 19, 1996, is a Finnish rally driver making a name for himself in the world of motorsports. As a second-generation racer, following in the footsteps of his father, Sebastian Lindholm, a former World Rally Championship driver, Emil has quickly risen through the ranks, showcasing his talent and determination.

Lindholm's career began on the racing circuit, before transitioning to rally driving. His first full rally season was in 2015, where he secured fifth place in the Opel Adam Cup in Germany. In 2017, he finished second in the SM3 class of the Finnish Rally Championship and was recognized as the Future Star by the Finnish Motorsport Federation (AKK). Between 2018 and 2020, Lindholm consistently competed in the Finnish Rally Championship and participated in various international events, securing impressive results, including second place in the premier class of the Finnish Rally Championship in both 2018 and 2020.

The year 2021 marked a significant breakthrough in Lindholm's career as he clinched the Finnish Rally Championship title. He also achieved victories in the WRC3 category at Rally Catalunya and Rally Finland, along with podium finishes in Croatia and Greece. Continuing his ascent, Lindholm won the WRC2 class championship in 2022. In 2023, he initially drove for the Toksport team before joining Hyundai's development program, piloting the Hyundai i20 N Rally2 car. In recent news, as of February 2025, Lindholm and his co-driver Reeta Hämäläinen have confirmed their return to the WRC2 category.
