John Andrew Bagnall, born on February 14, 1947, is a New Zealand racing driver with a career spanning over three decades. Bagnall began racing relatively late in life, at age 39, around 1986. Despite this late start, he has competed in numerous high-level international motorsport events, racing at iconic tracks such as Le Mans (four times), Spa-Francorchamps, Monza, and Bathurst. His early racing involved Ford Escort Mk 3 RS1600i and Toyota Corolla GT AE86 cars. However, he is most known for racing Porsche race cars.

Bagnall's racing resume includes participation in the Australian Touring Car Championship in the late 1980s, the New Zealand Touring Car Championship in 1990, and select races in the FIA GT Championship during the 1997 and 1998 seasons. In 1999, he ventured into the United States Road Racing Championship and also filled in for drivers in the American Le Mans Series. In 2004, he competed in the entire Australian Porsche Carrera Cup season. He has 3 wins and 8 podiums from 171 starts.

Beyond racing, Andrew Bagnall is a successful businessman. He holds a Commerce degree from Otago University and an MBA from Michigan State University. He is known for founding Gullivers Travel Group, a major distributor of travel services in New Zealand, which was later listed on the stock exchanges and sold to S8. Bagnall also has investments through his private investment company, Segoura, and has been involved in property development and the health sector. He is also known for his impressive car collection, which has included a rare McLaren F1 model.
