Kiyoto FUJINAMI

Kiyoto Fujinami, born on April 13, 1995, is a Japanese professional racing driver currently competing in Super GT for Team Mach. The 29-year-old has already achieved significant success in his career, most notably as a two-time GT300 class champion in Super GT. He secured these titles with Kondo Racing in 2020 and 2022, showcasing his talent and consistency in the highly competitive series.

Fujinami's journey to professional racing began with karting, where he demonstrated his potential by winning the 2010 CIK-FIA Asia Pacific KF2 Championship. Transitioning from karts, he joined the Formula Challenge Japan in 2012 as part of the Nissan Driver Development Programme (NDDP). He further honed his skills in sports car racing, competing in the Super Taikyu Series before making his Super GT debut in 2017 with Team Mach. In 2019, driving for JLOC, he secured a memorable GT300 class win at the Fuji GT 500 Mile Race, ending a five-year winless streak for the team.

Beyond Super GT, Fujinami has also made his mark in the Super Taikyu Series, contributing to GTNET Motor Sports' consecutive ST-X championships in 2018 and 2019, with overall victories in the Fuji Super TEC 24 Hours in both seasons. He added a third Fuji 24 Hours win in 2021, solidifying his reputation as a versatile and accomplished driver in both GT and endurance racing. His career statistics include 43 starts in Super Taikyu, with 1 win, 4 podium finishes, and 5 pole positions.
