Stephane Richelmi

Stéphane Richelmi, born March 17, 1990, is a professional racing driver hailing from Monaco, a place synonymous with motorsport. Richelmi's passion for racing is deeply rooted, as he is the son of former World Rally Championship driver Jean-Pierre Richelmi. His career began in karting at the age of twelve, setting the stage for a diverse and accomplished racing journey.

Richelmi's career has spanned various racing categories, including Formula Renault 1.6 and 2.0, Formula 3, GP2 Series, and sports car racing. He secured the runner-up position in the Italian Formula Three Championship in 2010 and later progressed through the ranks, showcasing his talent in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series and GP2. In GP2, he achieved a memorable victory in the sprint race at his home event in Monaco in 2014, contributing to his team's championship win.

Transitioning to endurance racing, Richelmi achieved significant success. In 2016, he joined Signatech Alpine in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) LMP2 category, winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans and securing the LMP2 class championship. He continued his success in endurance racing by winning the Asian Le Mans Series in 2017/18 with Jackie Chan DC Racing. More recently, he has been involved as a test and development driver for the ACO and MissionH24 program, focusing on hydrogen-powered racing. In 2024, he joined Vector Sport for the European Le Mans Series (ELMS), demonstrating his ongoing commitment to competitive racing.
