Shawn Bayliff

Shawn Bayliff is a highly experienced American racing driver with a diverse background spanning various motorsports disciplines. Beginning his racing journey in karting at the young age of 10 in 1979, Bayliff quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a factory driver for Margay and Bridgestone and securing wins in prestigious karting events across the USA.

In 1994, Bayliff transitioned to Midget and Sprint Car racing, achieving success in both winged and un-winged categories. His accomplishments include setting a track record at Eldora Speedway during a World of Outlaws event and claiming the 1995 Michigan Sprint Car Championship. Bayliff's career progressed into Formula Atlantic and the Indy Racing League (IRL), where he participated in the 1997 and 1998 Indy 500. He also drove for CBR Cobb Racing in IndyCar. Additionally, Bayliff has experience in the Rolex Sports Car Series, securing victories at major venues such as the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen.

Currently, Bayliff is involved in driver development and team management at Trinity Karting Group, which he co-founded with his wife, Michele. Trinity Karting Group operates out of Motorsports Country Club of Cincinnati, providing driver development programs. Bayliff's extensive racing background and wealth of knowledge make him a valuable asset to aspiring drivers, offering guidance and expertise to help them navigate their racing careers.
