Romeo Kapudija, born on May 20, 1970, is an American-Croatian professional race car driver hailing from Chicago, Illinois. Kapudija's racing journey began with karting and amateur Formula Atlantic and Skip Barber Formula Dodge competitions. He transitioned into professional racing in 1999, making his Toyota Atlantic debut at Long Beach, where he finished 11th overall and first in the C2 class.
Kapudija's career has spanned various racing series, showcasing his versatility and passion for motorsports. In 2002, he participated part-time in the American Le Mans Series in the GT class. A significant milestone was his participation in the 12 Hours of Sebring in 2004. From 2005 to 2007, he teamed up with actor Patrick Dempsey in the Grand-Am Cup. 2008 saw him move to the Grand-Am's Rolex Sports Car Series GT class with Matt Connelly Motorsports. In 2010, Kapudija debuted in the Daytona Prototype at the 24 Hours of Daytona, co-driving Beyer Racing's Chevy-Crawford.
