Ramon Pineiro, born on October 29, 1991, is a Spanish racing driver with a diverse motorsport background. Pineiro's career began in karting before he transitioned to Formula BMW Europe in 2008. He secured a spot in the series after participating in a Formula BMW Scholarship qualifier in 2007. In 2009, he continued in Formula BMW, switching between teams. His early career also included participation in the Formula Palmer Audi championship, where he experienced a dramatic barrel-roll accident at Silverstone but emerged unharmed.
