John Schauerman

John Schauerman is an American racing driver with a diverse career primarily focused on endurance racing. Born on October 23, 1956, he began his racing journey later in life, entering the sport in his forties. This passion led him to hone his skills at a US racing school before venturing into various racing classes, including F3 and LMP3.

Schauerman is best known for his participation in the Michelin Le Mans Cup, where he made his debut in 2018. From 2020, he teamed up with United Autosports, partnering with Wayne Boyd. Together, they competed at renowned European circuits, including the Circuit de la Sarthe for the Road to Le Mans support race. The duo achieved significant success, including a dramatic victory at Spa-Francorchamps in 2023, marking their first Le Mans Cup win together. That same year, Schauerman concluded his LMP3 racing career, retiring at the end of the season. Throughout his career, Schauerman has secured multiple podium finishes, including second place at Imola in 2022 and third place at Le Castellet in 2021. In 2021, he finished fourth in the Driver Championship of the Michelin Le Mans Cup.

Beyond racing, Schauerman enjoys spending time with his family and playing poker. He is married to Claudia, who actively supports his racing career and is involved in corporate boards. In recent years, Schauerman has also participated in events such as the Asian Le Mans Series and the Gulf 12 Hours.
