Henry Hassid

Henry Hassid is a French racing driver and businessman, born on January 15, 1960. While he pursued a career in the pharmaceutical industry, founding H2 Pharma in 1984, Hassid embarked on his motorsport journey relatively late, starting in 2000 at the age of 40. He quickly demonstrated his talent and passion for racing, achieving notable success in various sports car racing series.

Hassid's racing achievements include winning the French GT Championship in 2012 and securing the vice-champion title in 2014. In 2015, he finished second in the GTE class of the European Le Mans Series. He also has four Porsche Carrera Cup France Class B (gentlemen drivers) titles, won in 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011. More recently, Hassid competed in the Ferrari Challenge Europe, where he finished second in the 2017 Coppa Shell classification. In 2022, he won the Fanatec GT2 European Series Am title. In 2024, he clinched the European title in the Coppa Shell class, securing the title with ten podium finishes in 12 races, including five victories.

Throughout his career, Hassid has participated in a variety of racing series, including Formula Renault, Formula Ford, Porsche Cup, Blancpain Endurance Series, FIA GT, ELMS, and Lamborghini Super Trofeo. He has driven for several teams, showcasing his versatility and adaptability behind the wheel. With over 280 race starts, 38 wins, and 85 podium finishes, Henry Hassid has established himself as a respected and accomplished driver in the world of motorsports.
