Alain Valente

Alain Valente is a Swiss racing driver born on November 29, 1996, in Bern. His career began at the young age of seven in karting, where he quickly found success, becoming Vice Swiss Champion and later, Swiss Champion in the Junior category in 2010. In 2011, he secured a prestigious win at the Trofeo Andrea Margutti. Recognizing his talent, he was awarded the Young Driver Award in Switzerland in 2013.

Transitioning to cars in 2014, Valente competed in Italian F4, achieving six podium finishes in his debut season. He then moved to the European Lamborghini Super Trofeo for two years starting in 2015. In 2017, he joined the Lamborghini Young Driver Programme and raced in the Italian GT3 Championship, securing multiple podiums. 2018 saw Valente achieve five race victories in the Italian GT Championship and a win in the BOSS GP. He also drove for McLaren in a 570S GT4, achieving a pole position and podiums in various races.

Since then, Valente has continued to make a name for himself in GT racing, participating in series such as the ADAC GT4 Championship, British GT, GT World Challenge Europe, and GT Open. He has been a part of the McLaren Automotive Driver Development Programme since 2020 and has raced for teams like Haupt Racing Team and Madpanda Motorsport. His career highlights include finishing 5th overall with multiple wins in the GT Open in 2022 and achieving podium finishes in the British GT's Silver Cup class in 2021.
