Scott Maxwell, born on January 20, 1964, is a highly accomplished Canadian auto racing driver with a career spanning nearly four decades. Inducted into the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame in 2013, Maxwell is a versatile driver with championship titles in various racing series, including Formula Vee (1984), Formula Ford 1600 (1985 and 1986), Canadian National Showroom Stock (1992 and 1993), and Grand-Am/IMSA GS (2002, 2008, 2016).

Maxwell's career highlights include a class win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2000 with Multimatic Motorsports, a victory he considers his greatest moment. He also won the GT2 class at the 12 Hours of Sebring in 2006 and the first-ever Daytona Prototype race at the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona in 2003. His long and fruitful association with Multimatic Motorsports has seen him play a vital role in developing race cars like the Ford Mustang, Panoz, and Aston Martin.

Beyond his driving achievements, Maxwell is known for his contributions to the sport through his work in developing racing cars. He developed the Ford Racing Boss 302R in 2010 and his expertise helped develop the GT4 Aston Martin Vantage V8. Maxwell also runs Mini Grid, a Toronto-based shop specializing in products for automotive enthusiasts, a business started by his father in 1978. The Maxwell/Multimatic partnership is recognized as one of the longest-standing driver/team relationships in motorsport.
