Sobre Kerong Li
Kerong Li, born on August 3, 2001, is an American racing driver making a name for himself in the world of motorsports. While he represents the United States, his early childhood was spent in Xian, China. In 2024, he is competing in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS Endurance Cup, driving a Porsche 911 GT3 R for Earl Bamber Motorsport (EBM). His teammates include Earl Bamber, Adrian D'Silva, and Brendon Leitch.
Li's sports car racing debut came in 2021 at Road Atlanta with NTE/SSR in the Michelin Pilot Challenge. Since then, he has actively honed his skills, participating in the 2022 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe's Pro-Am Cup and the 24H GT Series powered by Hankook. In 2023, he drove for Leipert Motorsport in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance series. He also participated in the Rolex 24 at Daytona in 2023 with NTE/SSR, driving a Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2. In late 2023, it was announced that Li would be co-driving with Anders Fjordbach for MDK Motorsports in the 2024 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTD class, piloting a Porsche 911 GT3 R.
Li's achievements include a 3rd place finish in the FRP Eastern Pro 4 Challenge in 2021. In 2022, he secured the GTX Junior Champion title and second place in the European Junior Championship in the Hankook 24H Series. He ended the 2022 season with a GTX class victory in the Hankook 12H Kuwait. With a growing presence in GT racing, Li continues to build his experience and pursue his ambition in motorsports.
