Julian Dacosta

Julian DaCosta is a rising star in the world of American motorsports. Born on November 23, 2007, and hailing from Myakka City, Florida, DaCosta began his racing journey at the tender age of 3 with BMX, quickly transitioning to go-karts at age 4. He spent a decade honing his skills in karting before making the leap into MAZDA's Spec Miata program in 2022. DaCosta's early successes include being recognized as the youngest racer to compete at Shoreham BMX club, countless podiums and top-ten finishes, and track records at Roebling Road Raceway in Spec Miata and T3.

In 2023, DaCosta joined Hixon Motor Sports (HMS) in the Idemitsu Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by BFGoodrich Tires. As a rookie in the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup series, driving for Jared Thomas Racing, DaCosta demonstrated his talent by securing a podium finish at the Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. More recently, DaCosta has expanded his racing endeavors, joining BSI Racing and participating in the Toyota GR Cup and Trans Am TA2 series in 2024.
