Duncan Huisman

Duncan Huisman, born on November 11, 1971, is a highly accomplished Dutch racing driver with a career spanning several decades. Huisman has achieved success in various racing disciplines, most notably in touring cars and GT racing. He is a three-time Dutch Touring Car Champion, securing titles in 1997, 2000, and 2001 while driving a BMW 3 Series. His talent also shone on the international stage in the European Touring Car Championship (ETCC) from 2001 to 2004.

Huisman transitioned to the World Touring Car Championship (WTCC), marking his debut with BMW Team UK in the final two rounds of 2005. He made an immediate impact, winning his second race in Macau. He continued in the WTCC in 2006 with BMW Team Italy/Spain. Beyond touring cars, Huisman's versatility is evident in his participation in the FIA GT Championship and the Porsche Supercup. A significant highlight of his career is his victory in the prestigious 24 Hours of Nürburgring in 2005.

Adding to his impressive resume, Duncan Huisman is a four-time winner of the Guia Race. In recent years, he has remained active in racing, including participation in the Dutch GT4 Championship, where he finished as runner-up in 2010 and 2011. His older brother, Patrick Huisman, is also a successful racing driver, further cementing the family's presence in the sport.
