Cicero's career took him to Europe where he competed in the Winfield racing school Pilote Elf in France, a program that has produced Formula 1 drivers like Alain Prost. He also competed in the UK Formula Renault Winter Series and the North American Renault series, achieving significant wins in Mexico City and Phoenix, becoming the only American to win in the series.
