Hubert Trunkenpolz

Hubert Trunkenpolz is an Austrian racing driver who has become a familiar face in the Fanatec GT2 European Series since its inaugural season in 2021. Primarily associated with the True Racing team and driving a KTM X-Bow GT2, Trunkenpolz has secured numerous podium finishes in both the Am and Pro-Am classes. Beyond his racing endeavors, Trunkenpolz holds prominent positions as the CEO of KTM Sportcar GmbH and a Member of the Executive Board of KTM AG.

Trunkenpolz's racing career highlights include a third-place finish in the Am class standings in 2021. In 2023, he transitioned to the Pro-Am category, partnering with Reinhard Kofler, and achieved a third-place finish at their home race at the Red Bull Ring. He also secured two podiums at the Red Bull Ring in the prior year with Klaus Angerhofer. Prior to the GT2 European Series, Trunkenpolz participated in the KTM X-BOW Battle one-make series for over a decade and competed in several Creventic Series 12- and 24-hour races. In 2024, he teamed up with Laura Kraihamer in the Fanatec GT2 European Series driving for True Racing.
