Ahmed Bin Khanen

Ahmed Bin Khanen is a Saudi Arabian racing driver who has made significant strides in the world of motorsport. He began to gain prominence in the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East. A defining moment in his early career was his participation in the 2018/2019 Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy electric car championship with the Saudi Racing Team.

Bin Khanen's career highlights include winning the GT Academy Middle East in 2014, which provided him the opportunity to pursue a professional racing career with Nissan. As a result of his success at the GT Academy, he participated in Nissan's Driver Development Programme at Silverstone Circuit in the UK. This program fast-tracked his development, enabling him to qualify for an International Racing License. In 2015, he and his teammates finished second in the GT3 Pro-Am class and fifth overall at the Dubai 24 Hour race. In the 2019/2020 season, Bin Khanen secured the title in the BIC 2,000cc Challenge, driving a Honda Civic EG4 and claiming one victory along with five other podium finishes. He also took part in the GT4 European Series.

Bin Khanen's career has been supported by Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to empower Saudi youth and promote their integration into international championships. His participation in the GT4 European Series with Comtoyou Racing, driving an Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4, is a testament to this vision. In November 2024, he achieved a podium finish in Race 2 of the GT4 European Series in Jeddah, securing third place in the Am category alongside Reema Juffali.
