Yevgen Sokolovskiy

Yevgen Sokolovskiy, born on November 7, 1978, is a Ukrainian racing driver, team manager, and businessman. He hails from Odessa, Ukraine, and his early exposure to motorsport came through his father, Wladmir Sokolovsky, a rally driver. Yevgen began his racing journey at the young age of 8, competing in junior races. Before fully dedicating himself to racing, he earned a master's degree in commercial IT from the Odesa National Economics University.

Sokolovskiy's career encompasses both motorcycle and car racing. Initially, he competed in Supersport 600 championships in Russia and Ukraine from 2003 to 2009. He then participated in the German Yamaha R6 Cup from 2009 to 2011 and made appearances in the WorldSBK. Transitioning to touring car racing in 2018, he entered the LMV8 series and secured second place in the ASCAR class during his debut year. In 2020, he debuted in the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series, driving for Marko Stipp Motorsport. In 2021, Sokolovskiy achieved a significant milestone by winning the Belcar Endurance Championship in the touring car division.

Beyond his driving career, Sokolovskiy is the owner and manager of Vector Racing, a MotoGP/IDM team that won the Internationale Deutsche Motorradmeisterschaft in 2011. He balances his roles as a driver and team owner, showcasing his deep commitment to the world of motorsports. He is very proud to represent his home country of Ukraine and has displayed the country's flag on his race car.
