Wolfgang Reip

Wolfgang Reip is a Belgian racing driver born on October 1, 1986. Reip's journey into professional motorsport is quite unique, as he transitioned from a dedicated Gran Turismo gamer to a real-world racer through the Nissan PlayStation GT Academy. In 2012, he emerged victorious from over 830,000 European competitors, winning the GT Academy Europe competition. Before his GT Academy success, Reip was an avid fan of Formula 1, idolizing Ayrton Senna.

Reip's victory in the GT Academy launched him into an intensive driver development program. He secured his international racing license and began competing in various GT events. Some of his career highlights include finishing 4th at the Spa 24 Hours in 2016, winning the Blancpain Endurance Series Championship in 2015, and winning the Bathurst 12 Hour race in 2015. He also participated in the Le Mans 24 Hours race in 2014. Reip has competed in series such as the FIA World Endurance Championship, FIA GT, VLN Endurance, and the Blancpain Endurance Series.
