William Dendy is a British racing driver with experience in both cars and simulator racing. Dendy's journey in motorsports began in karting, where he honed his skills before transitioning to car racing. In 2014, he won a Pirelli talent competition, which gave him the opportunity to race cars. He made an impressive debut at Brands Hatch, winning the race from the back of the grid. Later that year, he progressed to Aston Martin GT racing.
In recent years, Dendy has been involved in simulator racing, demonstrating his versatility and passion for motorsports. He is a Casual Apex driver in the Team E-Brit GT series, a Simply Race Endurance Series team owner, and an organizer of the SR Classics championship. In 2020, Dendy partnered with Mashoom, racing for SEAT Sport UK. He also commentates on the Karting1.co.uk Alpha Live Superkart championship.
In 2023, Dendy finished 2nd in the GT Cup Championship UK - GTC, driving for Orange Racing powered by JMH. He drove a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup with Pirelli tyres. His past racing also includes the 2022 British GT Championship - GTH with Orange Racing powered by JMH in a McLaren 570S GT4, and the Super One Series - KF1 in 2009.
