Ton Junior Strous, born on April 28, 1986, is a Dutch racing driver, team owner, and entrepreneur hailing from Wassenaar, Netherlands. Strous began his professional career in Formula Ford in 2002 with Geva Racing and progressed through various levels of formula racing, including Formula BMW, Formula Renault, Champ Car Atlantic, and Indy Lights.
Throughout his career, Strous has achieved significant success, securing multiple championships. These include the Benelux Formula Renault 2.0 title in 2004, the Formula Renault Winter Invitational Championship in Florida the same year, and the Benelux BMW 325i Cup in 2003. In 2002, he became the youngest Formula Ford driver to win an international race at Spa-Francorchamps. In 2008, he received the Gilles Villeneuve Award, recognizing his exceptional ability, sportsmanship, dedication, and perseverance. In October 2011, Driver Database voted him as the best race car driver in the world.
Beyond racing, Strous is involved in various activities. He is a drifting specialist and founded Winners Circle Group Racing division in 2009. He also served as a TV commentator for RaceWorld TV, covering DTM, ChampCar, and IndyCar races.
