Simone Pellegrinelli

Simone Pellegrinelli is an Italian racing driver with experience in various racing series. He has been classified as a Silver driver by the FIA. In 2020, Pellegrinelli made a comeback to racing in the TCR Italy series with Scuderia del Girasole, driving a CUPRA Leon Competición TCR. He partnered with Salvatore Tavano, the reigning champion at the time. Pellegrinelli had previously won the Italian SEAT Ibiza Cup and was involved in the technical development of the new CUPRA Leon. He expressed pride in being selected to race the new car and aimed for podium finishes and race wins.

Prior to his TCR Italy stint, Pellegrinelli competed in the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia. In 2017, he secured his first victory in the series at Mugello, driving for Bonaldi Motorsport, after penalties were applied to other drivers.
