Richard Abra

Richard Abra, born on October 12, 1988, is a British racing driver with a career spanning various GT championships. Abra has competed in prestigious series such as the British GT Championship, the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup, and the 24 Hours of Barcelona. In 2014, he was signed as an Aston Martin Racing factory driver, participating in both British GT and Blancpain Endurance Series events with MP Motorsport. He has driven for teams such as Barwell Motorsport, campaigning Lamborghini Huracan GT3s.

Abra's successes include a victory in the 2018 Total 24 Hours of Spa in the Am Cup class. In 2013, driving with Mark Poole and Joe Osborne, Richard secured a Pro-Am podium at the Blancpain Endurance 3-hour race at Silverstone, finishing 2nd. In the same year, the Poole/Abra duo achieved an outright win in the British Endurance Championship Silverstone 1000kms event. Also in 2014, he finished 5th in the Blancpain Endurance Series - Pro-Am Cup. He also achieved victory in the JJ Motorsport BMW M235i at the 2016 Silverstone 24 Hour.
