Philippe Thirion

Philippe Thirion, born on August 9, 1963, is a French racing driver with a diverse career spanning various racing series. Thirion's career highlights include participation in the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2012, driving the Norma M200P for Extrême Limite, where his team finished 29th overall. In 2011, he secured a win at the Dijon round of the Challenge Endurance Proto in the V de V Championship. In 2008, Thirion also competed in the 24 Hours of Spa, piloting a Ferrari F430 GT3.

Thirion's racing endeavors extend to the Fun Cup championship with TLRT / Cogemo Racing Team, as well as multiple races in the 24H Series. Notably, he and Sébastien Morales achieved a 4th place finish in Dubai in 2020, driving an Audi RS3 TCE. In November 2017, he claimed the Prestige title in the Challenge Endurance Proto within the V de V Championship.
