Paul Theysgens is a Belgian racing driver who made his GT racing debut in 2021 with Street Art Racing in the GT4 European Series. At the time, he was 22 years old. He partnered with Pascal Bachmann in an Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT4. Before entering GT racing, Theysgens competed in VW Fun Cup races and continued to race 4-stroke karts. He also spent time giving driving lessons to children at an indoor karting center and teaching on a simulator. Theysgens expressed excitement about participating in the GT4 European Series, a series he had followed as a spectator.
In 2021, Theysgens was selected for the Aston Martin Racing Driver Academy. Drivers in the academy are evaluated on various factors, including speed, consistency, and technical feedback.
