Paul Morris

Paul "The Dude" Morris, born on December 22, 1967, is a highly accomplished Australian motor racing driver and team owner. Morris began his racing journey in 1987 in the Queensland Gemini Series, earning Rookie of the Year in his debut season and clinching the state championship the following year. He then transitioned to Formula Ford for three years before making his Bathurst debut in 1991, driving a Toyota Corolla and winning the Class C title.

Morris achieved significant success in the Australian Super Touring Championship, winning the title four times between 1995 and 2000, primarily driving BMWs. He also boasts multiple victories at the iconic Mount Panorama circuit, including the Bathurst 12 Hour in 2007 and 2010, and the Bathurst 1000 in 2014 with Chaz Mostert. In 2017, he added another Bathurst victory to his resume, winning the Bathurst 6 Hour. Beyond touring cars, Morris has ventured into GT racing and even conquered the Stadium Super Trucks, securing the series championship in 2017.

In addition to his driving career, Morris owns and manages Paul Morris Motorsport (also known as Nemo Racing) and the Norwell Motorplex, a performance driving center in Queensland. His team competed in V8 Supercars from 2000 to 2012 and continues to participate in the Super3 Series. Morris's contributions to Australian motorsport as a driver, team owner, and mentor have solidified his legacy as a respected figure in the racing community.
