Nico Pronk is a Dutch racing driver and businessman born on October 2, 1961, in Den Haag, Netherlands. While he may have started his racing career later than most, in 2009, Pronk has since established himself as a consistent competitor in various GT series.
Pronk's racing experience spans several prominent GT competitions. He has been a regular in the GT Open since 2012 and participated in the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) in 2013. Before that, he competed in the FIA GT3 in 2011, the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series in 2010 and 2011, and the GT4 European Cup in 2009. In 2013, he secured two wins in the GT Sprint. In 2022, he participated in the Asian Le Mans Series with Peter and Stéphane Kox in a Porsche 911 GT3 R, under the team name Saalocin by Kox Racing; "Saalocin" is his first name Nicolaas spelled backward.
