Naquib Azlan

Naquib Azlan is a promising young racing talent hailing from Malaysia. Born into a family with a passion for motorsports, his early exposure to cars and the Sepang Circuit ignited his dream of becoming a professional racer. He honed his skills in the virtual world of sim racing, particularly on iRacing, where he credits the platform for teaching him the fundamentals of race craft, refining his consistency, and providing a competitive environment to prepare for real-world challenges.

Under the tutelage of Alex Yoong, Malaysia's first Formula 1 driver, Naquib, along with his brother Nabil, has quickly risen through the ranks. He entered Toyota Gazoo Racing's (TGR) Rookie Driver Development Programme and replicated that success in the Sepang 1000km race, winning in 2022. Beyond real-world racing, Naquib has represented Malaysia in the FIA Motorsport Games in the Esports GT category for two years.

Naquib aims to be crowned class champion in the Toyota Gazoo Racing Vios Challenge in Malaysia and aspires to race internationally against world-class drivers, representing his country on an international level in sim racing.
